Athletics day - By Lyla

On Tuesday Ōtaki college went to Ōtaki Domain we had Athletics day every body dressed up in there house colours i was in rimu/red. At 9.00am every body had to be there some people went over the top he was dressed up as a green bean and someone was painted all in yellow face paint. I competed in shot put and a little bit of running because we didn't sign up so i ran on the side line and then we just waited around. At lunch people were selling sausages and bread buns. After lunch we had to go to our house colour tent. Mr Ward was dressed up as a chilli pepper. He was telling us what house colours won some relays rimu won most and kauri and matai. Athletics day - By Zoe

On Tuesday We went to do Athletics at the Ōtaki Domain we all had to dress in a house colours I was in Rimu!

When we got there we waited until 9:00.

Everyone was in there house colours some people dressed as random things but mostly there colour.

Then the girls in year 7 and 8 we stared of with high jump I didn't do it then we moved on to shot put I did that with Lyla and Rose and Kayla and other kids.

Then we did other things like the run and long jump and discus it was fun watching the ruining. 

We had lunch and they were cooking amazing  sausages and juices and stuff like that then we had  house relays I think my team won 4 house challenges and Matai won some  house relays to.
